Why a free service?
Being out of work can be stressful. There’s a lot of competition out there, and perhaps you are struggling to stand out or are considering a change of direction.
Why do this?
I’m at a stage in my career where I have a very extensive skillset
I help people by answering on LinkedIn, but I think I can use my time better like this
It’s good to give something back to the community
This will be:
Remote
Typically during UK time (10 am to 5 pm)
A 30-minute/1-hour session with the option, if we agree, to do more

Do you have something specific you’d like to discuss?
Let’s start by making it clear what you want to achieve. Here are some of the things you may want help with:
You want career advice
You need a CV review
You want to improve your interview techniques
You want a specific question answered
This could be in the form of a goal, a problem or a question. For example:
Question - How can I improve how to answer questions about being Agile and still delivering to deadlines?
Goal - I’d like to go beyond being a Scrum Master and look after multiple teams
Problem - I don’t think my CV (resume) is written well enough
If you can provide some background that’d help too! If your question is outside of my skillset I’ll let you know.

This site should give you a good overview of my skill set. I’ve taught, coached and mentored hundreds (perhaps thousands) of people. I’ve even written a book! I’ve added a few example skills below to give you an idea of what I can help with:
